Since 2004 Bosch in Wuxi has initiated a donation program with Wuxi Welfare Center. Every year Bosch volunteers raise money for orphans and disable children there, visit them from time to time, and help them out of the difficulties on food and clothing. We also organize outdoor activities and competing games for these unlucky children. Nowadays more and more Bosch employees have joined this volunteers' team.

Bosch in Shanghai, "One Book" Plan

In early 2008 Bosch in Shanghai cooperated with China Children and Teenagers' Fund to launch the "One Book" Plan for orphans in the Henan Province, where many kids lost their parents who died from AIDS. These AIDS orphans are suffering from less family care, danger of illness, and dropping out of school caused by poverty. Bosch employees in Shanghai donated more than 500 books, lots of stationary and money in just a few days, hoping to realize these kids' dream in the New Year.
